 LDJ is proud to announce the long awaited Power Vent option for our Biomass Furnaces and Boilers. This LDJ exclusive power vent is the first UL and ULC listed power vent availble on a biomass appliance.
The Power Vent option essentially replaces the need for a natural draft chimney. So not only is it easier and faster to get an LDJ unit installed, the Power Vent provides a constant stable draft for the combustion process. Best of all the power vent retails for less than $600, far less than the cost of a typical chimney installation.
 Some of the benefits of this new innovation are:
- Mounts horizontally through an exterior wall
- Eliminates the need for a chimney
- Costs much less than a standard chimney
- Speeds up the installation process

 As fossil fuel prices continue to climb, more and more people are switching over to alternative biomass fuels like wood pellets. To support this growing market demand new pellet mills are opening all over the country. Additionally, because wood pellets are, most commonly, made from recycled wood waste, they have the added benefit of being affordable and locally available. |

 There can be a lot of confusion about who actually produces the A-Maize-Ing Heat brand. In short, the A-Maize-Ing Heat brand name is owned by several manufacturers who purchased rights to produce the bottom fed biomass burning system similar to the one pictured on the right. At LDJ we have taken this original design and upgraded it with many exclusive improvements. The LDJ A-Maize-Ing Heat design is by far one of the most advanced and safest biomass burning appliances in the market today.
